Hi!! My name is Heather Voinski. I'm married to my best friend Jeremy and we live in southern New Jersey with our little feathered baby, a parakeet named Blue. I work full time as a hospice nurse and I absolutely love my job. I think the only other job in the whole world that I could possibly love as much is if I was able to make things with my hands and get paid for it. :) By night I love to create! Creating and crafting is my therapy from life and work!

 

I've always been a crafter, my whole life. When I was young my mother taught me to crochet and my sister taught me to make things from plastic canvas, that is where I started. Drawling and painting was also my favorite when I was young but I've pulled away from that as I got older and I am doing many more things! Scrapbooking, stamping, sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, candy making, paper crafts, wood crafts...I have a fondness for it all. The only thing I haven't tried is knitting and embroidery but give me time and I'm sure I am bound to try them.

 

My mind is always thinking of new ways and uses for everyday things. I am a huge recycler and I like to reuse things in my craft projects. As of recent, I was using cereal boxes as covers for hand bound journals...another thing I am trying to teach myself...and I recycled Starbucks Frappuccino bottles to store my buttons in my craft area.

 

When I am not crafting I can also be found watching reruns of Sex and the City, reading, baking, or vegging out on the couch with my hubby!!! I have a fondness for country music that drives my husband crazy(he loves heavy metal) and it is always on in my craft area!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                                      Hi, my name is Jen Dubbs and I live here in southern New Jersey enjoying the life along the beach. I've been married for 16 years to my husband Dan and we have 2 beautiful children (an 11yr old boy and 8 yr old daughter) who are the subjects of most of my scrapbook layouts.  I began scrapping about 12 years ago, but I have been a "crafty" person my entire life.  During high school and college, I fit as many art classes into my schedule as possible...experimenting with all types of media.  Currently my creativity is satisfied with scrapbooking.  Working full time I consider it my therapy..."a little me time".  I have been published by Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, and Scrapbooks Etc.  Lately I've pulled back from doing a lot of submitting and am just enjoying the process of creating a layout. In addition to designing for the Scrapbook Cafe I have been designing for a monthly kit club for the past 3 years.
