Meet our Design Team Members!!!!
Hi! My name is Janet. I am the proud mom of two beautiful girls, Lauren and Madison and am married to my HS sweetheart and best friend of 27 years Kevin. We share our home with two really cool dogs and 1 cat who thinks he’s a dog. We live near the shore in Cape May. I have spent the last 23 years working for the Superior Court of CMC.
I love spending time outdoors, reading, camping, gardening, and crafting. I have dabbled in all types of arts and crafts my whole life; everything from crocheting, knitting, sewing and painting to beading and basket weaving! I have been scrapbooking for about 7yrs now and it is my true passion. I like everything with paper crafting - traditional 12X12 pages, minis, cards, altered projects, banners and more. I’m always searching for new ideas and techniques and love sharing them too.
Spending time with family and friends is important to me. Scrapbooking my photos go hand in hand with my love of family and friends and seeing our memories displayed on paper and projects.
My name is Sandi Smith. I am a 47 year old single mother of two boys; Alex is 21 and Liam is 17. (boy they have grown up too fast)
I have always been crafty. My Grandmother tought me ceramics when I was 3, I've made doll furniture, and even made a lot of my kids clothes when they were young. It was when I discovered Scrapbooking that I found a hobby that I was hooked to for life. I've been scrapping for about 14 years and I admit, I am an addict! I like to think my pages have become more sophisticated over time. My favorite company is almost exclusively Websters Pages. They are the most gorgeous papers and just seem to spark my creativity. I am so excited to be part of the design team. My goal is to inspire and be inspired by others. I am so looking forward to this new journey and hope to meet new people along the way.
Hi! My name is Kim and I am a mother of three, happily married for seventeen years. I am a hairdresser by trade but my passions are scrapbooking, doll collecting, and taking family vacations. My addictions include Dunkin Donuts Mocha Lattes and Scrapbooking Getaways! I began scrapbooking nine years ago after the birth of my youngest son. Back then it was Creative Memories, but I have evolved into more creative techniques. I have been on the Scrapbook Cafe design team for the past three years and love trying new things with new products. I'm looking forward to sharing all my upcoming projects. : )
Hi! My name is Audrey Wilcockson. I am a happily married mother of three amazing kids who are growing up faster than I can scrapbook them. My background is in theatrical design, specializing in costumes. It's no surprise that a lot of my interests involve sewing or needlework of some kind. I also love movies, spending time outdoors and making memories with my family. I have always collected memorabilia and have kept scrapbooks and journals since my teens. I began "modern" scrapbooking in 2001 after my sister-in-law bought a kit for me. Now, I'm completely obsessed! I have been published in Memory Makers Magazine and I am in the process of writing a book of poetry for scrapbooking and cardmaking. I am very excited about putting together classes and sharing my passion for this with those that are as addicted as I am!
Hi!! My name is Heather Voinski. I'm married to my best friend Jeremy and we live in southern New Jersey with our little feathered baby, a parakeet named Blue. I work full time as a hospice nurse and I absolutely love my job. I think the only other job in the whole world that I could possibly love as much is if I was able to make things with my hands and get paid for it. :) By night I love to create! Creating and crafting is my therapy from life and work!
I've always been a crafter, my whole life. When I was young my mother taught me to crochet and my sister taught me to make things from plastic canvas, that is where I started. Drawling and painting was also my favorite when I was young but I've pulled away from that as I got older and I am doing many more things! Scrapbooking, stamping, sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, candy making, paper crafts, wood crafts...I have a fondness for it all. The only thing I haven't tried is knitting and embroidery but give me time and I'm sure I am bound to try them.
My mind is always thinking of new ways and uses for everyday things. I am a huge recycler and I like to reuse things in my craft projects. As of recent, I was using cereal boxes as covers for hand bound journals...another thing I am trying to teach myself...and I recycled Starbucks Frappuccino bottles to store my buttons in my craft area.
When I am not crafting I can also be found watching reruns of Sex and the City, reading, baking, or vegging out on the couch with my hubby!!! I have a fondness for country music that drives my husband crazy(he loves heavy metal) and it is always on in my craft area!!
Hi, my name is Jen Dubbs and I live here in southern New Jersey enjoying the life along the beach. I've been married for 16 years to my husband Dan and we have 2 beautiful children (an 11yr old boy and 8 yr old daughter) who are the subjects of most of my scrapbook layouts. I began scrapping about 12 years ago, but I have been a "crafty" person my entire life. During high school and college, I fit as many art classes into my schedule as possible...experimenting with all types of media. Currently my creativity is satisfied with scrapbooking. Working full time I consider it my therapy..."a little me time". I have been published by Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, and Scrapbooks Etc. Lately I've pulled back from doing a lot of submitting and am just enjoying the process of creating a layout. In addition to designing for the Scrapbook Cafe I have been designing for a monthly kit club for the past 3 years.
My name is Corina Syanovitz; I am 17 years old and attend Ocean County College majoring in Elementary Education. I have been scrapbooking seriously for 5 years, stamping for over 2.
